What is STRIDE?

STRIDE is designed specifically for a child’s developmental screening, assessment and intervention program to help discover any potential development delays in the areas of cognitive and physical development, language, speech and communications as well as socio-emotional development. These are important factors in a child’s development milestones. This program helps to intervene where necessary with the help of child development experts and the use of technology for the screening.

How does STRIDE works?

It’s simple. Register your child and book a screening session here. After completing the screening, you need to complete a questionaire. Next is getting your child’s screening results with recommendation for next steps.

STRIDE is suitable for children age?

STRIDE is ideal and optimal for children age 3 to under 6 years old (on date of screening). For example:

  • Birthdate: 30 March 2018
  • Screening date: 15 March 2024
  • Child’s Age on Screening date / time: 5 years, 11 months old

The tool has been designed to cater to this specific age group where if intervention is required, it can deliver positive results.

How can STRIDE help me and my child?

The STRIDE program aims to maximize your child’s developmental growth by leveraging on their strengths and interest while addressing areas for improvement. By gaining insights into your child’s developmental stage, you can select activities that yield positive results.

How long is the screening and assessment?

The screening will take from between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the child’s ability to follow instructions. The assessment and results will take up to 30 days as it will be attended by experts in childhood development and early childhood intervention.

Can I get the screening or assessment done at home?

The STRIDE screening and asesssment must be performed physically at our location as stated here.

Do I need to purchase the screening tool?

You don’t need to purchase the screening tool. It will be used as part of your child’s screening process. You will receive a Developmental Report as a result of the screening and assessment.

How long do I receive the results?

It will take up to 30 days to receive the Developmental Report.

What can I do with the Development Report?

Once you have received your child’s Developmental Report, you can choose to either consult with a professional to plan an Intervention Plan for your child or explore activities that can help maximise your child’s strong domains and improve on lesser ones.
