What is a Kiddocarer?
Kiddocarers are a third-party (independent) babysitters offering their service on the Kiddocare online platform. Kiddocare as a gig economy job platform will connect trained and qualified Kiddocarer with a Kiddocare service user (customer).
All Kiddocare trainees must complete trainings, tests and assessments to ascertain that the babysitter is up to Kiddocare’s quality standards and customer expectations.
What are the requirements to be a Kiddocarer?
To become a Kiddocare, you will need to meet our basic requirements, which are:
1. You have to be a Malaysian, male or female.
2. Must be at least 18 years old.
3. Attend mandatory trainings.
4. Complete all required assessments.
What is a Kiddocarer's working hours?
Kiddocarers can work on a part-time or full-time basis depending on the Kiddocarer’s time flexibility. As we are a gig-work platform, we strongly encourage for Kiddocarers to stay active on the platform to increase their chances of earning a decent income from childcare services.
Where do Kiddocarer report for work?
Kiddocarer in an online family care platform. We connect customers to trained Kiddocarers to provide childcare services to the client’s preferred location. Once a customer’s booking is made, a Kiddocarer can apply for jobs that are suitable to them, anytime and anywhere.
Is there a registration OR sign-up fee?
You can sign-up and register for FREE. If selected, you will will have to pay to attend trainings and complete onboarding as Kiddocarer.
Kiddocarer onboarding cost is RM120 one-time fee.
Included in the Fee:
• 1-session of Basic Childcare Training and Special Needs Children Basic Care.
• 1-session SOP, Laws & Regulations, Professional Comm and Kiddocarer App Training.
• Work insurance coverage from Kiddocare.
• Background check.
Will there be any further requirements apart from Onboarding?
As a Kiddocarer, you are also required to get Basic CPR and First Aid Certification within 3 months of being onboarded. Kiddocare does provide a special price only for Kiddocarers through our Certified Partner & Trainer to acquire this training and certification. Your Kiddocarer Support Team will contact you when classes are available.
What do customers expect from a Kiddocarer?
Kiddocare’s customer expectation is considerably high. Kiddocarers must perform each service with exceptional quality based on the Kiddocarer’s jobscope. Here are the top priority tasks for you to meet the customer’s expectations:
• Be punctual, active and responsive to their requests.
• Perform routine care according to instructions and care standards.
• Engage, interact and communicate with children through activities.
• Diligently follow Kiddocare’s SOP to maintain quality service.
How much can I earn as Kiddocarer?
You can earn up to RM25 per hour depending on the service type you perform.
Do we look after the children at our house?
No, Kiddocarers do not take care of the children in their own house, but must arrange to travel to the locations required by the client. In can be in the client’s house, office, clinic, event place, shopping mall, theme park, basically anywhere! Some clients may want you to meet them at their house, then will bring you elsewhere. As long as you inform us of your whereabouts & committed to general SOP conduct, you’re good to go!
