Kiddocare Professional Carer (Part time)

What is the requirement?

Age: 18 to 30 years old
Gender: Female
Min Qualification: SPM
Unemployed for 1 month/ No official employment Never join similar programme

What is the working hours like and where is the work location?

It is advisable to complete at least 40 hours per month. The work location is flexible based on your selection. Once you have completed all the mandatory requirements to become a Kiddocarer, you will be onboarded onto our system and receive information regarding bookings made by clients.

Is there any contract for work ?

Yes, and we will share the working contract with you before you proceed further in this program upon meeting qualifying requirements.

What is the job scope?

As a Kiddocare Professional Carer, you are required to perform the following tasks:

  1. Supervision and Safety: Ensuring the safety of the child is top priority. This includes being vigilant during playtime, outings, and other activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
  2. Play and Interaction: Engaging in age-appropriate games and activities with the child to promote social skills, cognitive development, and creativity.
  3. Emotional Support: Offering emotional support and understanding to the child, helping them express their feelings and cope with any challenges they may be facing.
  4. Assisting with Daily Activities: Assisting with tasks such as dressing, feeding, and personal hygiene, depending on the age and abilities of the child.
  5. Educational Support: Assisting with homework, reading, and educational activities to foster learning and academic development.
  6. Encouraging Independence: Encouraging the child to develop independence and self-confidence in age-appropriate ways.
  7. Communication: Maintaining open and clear communication with parents or guardians about the child’s progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.

Is the job on full-time or part-time basis?

We only offer part-time basis for this position.

What is the duration of the training and will it be offline or online?

For this position, you are required to attend in-person (offline) training for 5 days before you can onboard as our Professional Kiddocarer. Additionally, you must attend 2-3 days of training each month throughout this program. However, you will receive a training allowance and a K-Youth Trainee Completion Bonus if you successfully complete the monthly trainings.

How about the salary?

You’ll received your salary based on the monthly job completed.

Do I receive overtime, medical leave and annual leave?

You will be entitled to receive the following:

  1. Sick leave: 4 days (medical certificate allows for a claim of up to RM200 for 4 months).
  2. OT:  Overtime will be paid based on the extension hour requested by the client.

Do I need to apply for jobs in the Kiddocare App and can I choose the client?

Yes, you will need to apply through the app (Kiddocarer App), and you will have the option to choose the client based on your preference.

Can I request for travel incentives?

You can’t request for travel incentives. However, we’ll be giving RM30 per job to help you commute to the client’s location.

Can I change my position from Part-time Carer to Full-time Carer or vice versa?

For any reason, participants cannot change their position to another position during this program.

If I am interested and from another state, do I need to relocate to Klang Valley?

Yes, if you are interested and from another state, you will need to relocate to Klang Valley. You must however arrange for your own accommodation.

Can I withdraw myself from this programme after accepting the the offer letter?

Yes, you can withdraw from this program, but there will be a penalty, which requires you to repay the training costs. Additionally, you need to provide one month’s notice before being able to withdraw from the program.

Upon signing the Offer Letter, will I be an employee of Kiddocare?

Yes, upon signing the Offer Letter, you will be considered an employee of Kiddocare for the duration specified in the contract. This means your employment status is valid and recognized for the period outlined in the agreement.

What should I do if I miss a mandatory training session?

You need to provide a valid reason and proof if they are not able to attend the mandatory trainings. If absent, your salary will be deducted, and you will be required to do self-study, take the exam, and undergo a physical assessment at Kiddocare HQ. If participants do not pass the assessment, they must retake the exam and physical assessment at Kiddocare HQ. You will not be paid for retaking exams and assessments.

Who should I inform when I can't come to work or maybe late for work?

You should inform the admin in charge during your service session if you cannot come to work, or if you might be late.

Who should I inform if I've been asked to perform tasks not stated in the jobscope?

You should inform the admin in charge during your service session if you have been asked to perform tasks not stated in the jobscope.

Who can I lodge a complain to if there is any disagreement with the client?

You can lodge a complaint with the admin in charge during your service session if there is any disagreement with the client for further investigation.

Kiddocare Professional Childcare Caregiver (Family Home)

What is the requirement?

Age: 18 to 30 years old
Gender: Female
Min Qualification: SPM
Unemployed for 1 month/ No official employment Never join similar programme

What is the working hours like and where is the work location?

As a Professional Home Caregiver, you are required to work 45 hours per week and are entitled to overtime. You will be attached to one family during this 4-month program.

Is there any contract for work ?

Yes, and we will share the working contract with you before you proceed further in this program upon meeting qualifying requirements.

What is the job scope?

As a Kiddocare Professional Childcare Caregiver, you are required to perform the following tasks:

  1. Provide required and basic childminding tasks including, routine care such as dressing, feeding, attending to personal hygiene.
  2. Understand the child’s daily routine & schedule for basic care.
  3. Follow instructions and guidelines provided by the client.
  4. Maintain a clean and organised environment for the child.
  5. Plan & engage with the child in age-appropriate educational and fun activites, playtime and games.
  6. Give 100% focus and attention to the child by being attentive, responsive, and emotionally available to the child’s needs while providing appropriate guidance and supervision.
  7. Keep record on the child’s activities and make notable behaviours or milestones.
  8. Communicate with the client on the child’s activities, progress, incidents or issues faced.
  9. Preparation and serve meals or snacks for the child as per parental guidelines. Heavy cooking is not allowed. i.e: If parent have prepped the meal, carer is allowed to cook the meal using oven/microwave/air fryer.
  10. Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the child’s care, such as tidying up play areas, washing dishes, folding clothes.
  11. Ensure safety for the child by being vigilant during playtime, outings, and other activities to prevent accidents or injuries.

Is the job on full-time or part-time basis?

We only offer full-time basis for this position.

What is the duration of the training and will it be offline or online?

The training will be running for approximately one (1) month (excluding weekends), and you will need to attend the training in-person (offline).

No, you do not need to apply through the app, and you cannot choose the client directly. You will be matched with a client based on your skills, preferences and client’s requirements.

Travel incentives will be provided and details regarding these incentives will be included in your official offer letter or shared with you during the introduction briefing.

Kiddocare Professional Elder Caregiver (Family Home)

What is the requirement?

Age: 24 to 30 years old

What is the working hours like and where is the work location?

As a Professional Home Caregiver, you are required to work 45 hours per week and are entitled to overtime. You will be attached to one family during this 4-month program.

Is there any contract for work ?

Yes, and we will share the working contract with you before you proceed further in this program upon meeting qualifying requirements.

What is the job scope?

As a Kiddocare Professional Elder care Caregiver, you are required to perform the following tasks:

  1. Companionship: Engaging in meaningful conversations and activities to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness for the elderly by providing emotional support and being a good listener.
  2. Transportation: Assisting with transportation to doctor’s appointments, social outings, grocery shopping, or any other errands.
  3. Safety Supervision: Ensuring that the living environment is safe and free from hazards. Implementing safety measures, especially if the elderly person has mobility or memory issues.
  4. Exercise and Mobility: Encouraging physical activity and assisting with exercises to maintain strength and mobility.
  5. Monitoring Health: Keeping an eye on any changes in the elderly person’s health condition and reporting any concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
  6. Communication with Family: Keeping family members informed about the elderly person’s well-being and any notable changes in their health or behavior.

Is the job on full-time or part-time basis?

We only offer full-time basis for this position.

What is the duration of the training and will it be offline or online?

The entire training will take 3 weeks. However, 2 weeks will be in-person (offline), and the remaining week will be online.

Where will the the training will be held?

The training will be held at International Medical University (IMU), Bukit Jalil.

Assistance Teacher (Caregiver)

What is the requirement?

What is the working hours like and where is the work location?

Working hours in a centre will depend on the centre’s (Taska) operating days and hours. Location will be according to the centre (Taska) that you have been accepted to.

Is there any contract for work ?

Yes, and we will share the working contract with you before you proceed further in this program upon meeting qualifying requirements.

What is the job scope?

Babysitting / Assistant Teacher

Is the job on full-time or part-time basis?

We only offer full-time basis for this position.

What is the duration of the training and will it be offline or online?

You’ll be fully trained by the Centre (Taska) where you will be assigned to.

Where will the the training will be held?

You will attend training at the centre (Taska) where you will be assigned to.

What are the benefits when joining this program?

Do I receive overtime, medical leave and annual leave?

Leave and overtime will be provided according to the centre’s (Taska) requirements.

  1. Sick leave: 4 days, with a medical certificate allowing claims of up to RM200 for a 4-month period.

Do I need to apply for jobs in the Kiddocare App and can I choose the client?

No, you do not need to apply through the app, and you cannot choose the client directly. Placement will be in a center (Taska) partnering with Kiddocare.

Can I request for travel incentives?

Unfortunately, travel incentives will not be provided and you are not be able to request for it.

Will accommodation be provided?

Accommodation may be provided and is subject to the Centre’s (Taska) hostel availability.

We are open to participants from all states, so relocation to Klang Valley is not required. However, it depends on Centre’s availibility at your location.

You should inform Taska person in charge if you have been asked to perform tasks not stated in the job scope.

Who can I lodge a complain to if there is any disagreement with the client?

You can lodge a complaint with the person in charge at the Taska if there is any disagreement or conflict. All complaints will fall under the responsibility of the Taska itself.
