Kiddocare Professional Carer (Part time)

What is the working hours like and where is the work location?
It is advisable to complete at least 40 hours per month. The work location is flexible based on your selection. Once you have completed all the mandatory requirements to become a Kiddocarer, you will be onboarded onto our system and receive information regarding bookings made by clients.

What is the job scope?
As a Kiddocare Professional Carer, you are required to perform the following tasks:
- Supervision and Safety: Ensuring the safety of the child is top priority. This includes being vigilant during playtime, outings, and other activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Play and Interaction: Engaging in age-appropriate games and activities with the child to promote social skills, cognitive development, and creativity.
- Emotional Support: Offering emotional support and understanding to the child, helping them express their feelings and cope with any challenges they may be facing.
- Assisting with Daily Activities: Assisting with tasks such as dressing, feeding, and personal hygiene, depending on the age and abilities of the child.
- Educational Support: Assisting with homework, reading, and educational activities to foster learning and academic development.
- Encouraging Independence: Encouraging the child to develop independence and self-confidence in age-appropriate ways.
- Communication: Maintaining open and clear communication with parents or guardians about the child’s progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.

You’ll received your salary based on the monthly job completed.
Do I receive overtime, medical leave and annual leave?
You will be entitled to receive the following:
- Sick leave: 4 days (medical certificate allows for a claim of up to RM200 for 4 months).
- OT: Overtime will be paid based on the extension hour requested by the client.
Do I need to apply for jobs in the Kiddocare App and can I choose the client?
Yes, you will need to apply through the app (Kiddocarer App), and you will have the option to choose the client based on your preference.
Can I request for travel incentives?
Can I change my position from Part-time Carer to Full-time Carer or vice versa?
If I am interested and from another state, do I need to relocate to Klang Valley?
Can I withdraw myself from this programme after accepting the the offer letter?
Yes, you can withdraw from this program, but there will be a penalty, which requires you to repay the training costs. Additionally, you need to provide one month’s notice before being able to withdraw from the program.
Upon signing the Offer Letter, will I be an employee of Kiddocare?
What should I do if I miss a mandatory training session?
You need to provide a valid reason and proof if they are not able to attend the mandatory trainings. If absent, your salary will be deducted, and you will be required to do self-study, take the exam, and undergo a physical assessment at Kiddocare HQ. If participants do not pass the assessment, they must retake the exam and physical assessment at Kiddocare HQ. You will not be paid for retaking exams and assessments.
Who should I inform when I can't come to work or maybe late for work?
You should inform the admin in charge during your service session if you cannot come to work, or if you might be late.
Who should I inform if I've been asked to perform tasks not stated in the jobscope?
You should inform the admin in charge during your service session if you have been asked to perform tasks not stated in the jobscope.
Who can I lodge a complain to if there is any disagreement with the client?
You can lodge a complaint with the admin in charge during your service session if there is any disagreement with the client for further investigation.
Kiddocare Professional Childcare Caregiver (Family Home)

What is the working hours like and where is the work location?
As a Professional Home Caregiver, you are required to work 45 hours per week and are entitled to overtime. You will be attached to one family during this 4-month program.

What is the job scope?
As a Kiddocare Professional Childcare Caregiver, you are required to perform the following tasks:
- Provide required and basic childminding tasks including, routine care such as dressing, feeding, attending to personal hygiene.
- Understand the child’s daily routine & schedule for basic care.
- Follow instructions and guidelines provided by the client.
- Maintain a clean and organised environment for the child.
- Plan & engage with the child in age-appropriate educational and fun activites, playtime and games.
- Give 100% focus and attention to the child by being attentive, responsive, and emotionally available to the child’s needs while providing appropriate guidance and supervision.
- Keep record on the child’s activities and make notable behaviours or milestones.
- Communicate with the client on the child’s activities, progress, incidents or issues faced.
- Preparation and serve meals or snacks for the child as per parental guidelines. Heavy cooking is not allowed. i.e: If parent have prepped the meal, carer is allowed to cook the meal using oven/microwave/air fryer.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the child’s care, such as tidying up play areas, washing dishes, folding clothes.
- Ensure safety for the child by being vigilant during playtime, outings, and other activities to prevent accidents or injuries.

No, you do not need to apply through the app, and you cannot choose the client directly. You will be matched with a client based on your skills, preferences and client’s requirements.

As a Kiddocare Professional Elder care Caregiver, you are required to perform the following tasks:
- Companionship: Engaging in meaningful conversations and activities to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness for the elderly by providing emotional support and being a good listener.
- Transportation: Assisting with transportation to doctor’s appointments, social outings, grocery shopping, or any other errands.
- Safety Supervision: Ensuring that the living environment is safe and free from hazards. Implementing safety measures, especially if the elderly person has mobility or memory issues.
- Exercise and Mobility: Encouraging physical activity and assisting with exercises to maintain strength and mobility.
- Monitoring Health: Keeping an eye on any changes in the elderly person’s health condition and reporting any concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Communication with Family: Keeping family members informed about the elderly person’s well-being and any notable changes in their health or behavior.

What is the working hours like and where is the work location?
Working hours in a centre will depend on the centre’s (Taska) operating days and hours. Location will be according to the centre (Taska) that you have been accepted to.

No, you do not need to apply through the app, and you cannot choose the client directly. Placement will be in a center (Taska) partnering with Kiddocare.

Accommodation may be provided and is subject to the Centre’s (Taska) hostel availability.

You can lodge a complaint with the person in charge at the Taska if there is any disagreement or conflict. All complaints will fall under the responsibility of the Taska itself.
